This is the first volume of the General Electric Monitor top repair manual as issued by the GE refrigerator division. (See our other auctions for the Volume II covering all 1933-42 GE refrigerator repairs, and also the GE parts manual that is also offered for sale in our auctions.) This manual is the early models from 1927 GE, 1928 GE, 1929 GE, 1930 GE, 1931 GE, 1932 GE, 1933 GE and has too many to list… DR , S-, DRB-, D-, DRA-, DA-, Controls and control adjustments, DC and the old Frequency Machines, Service adjustments, Wiring diagrams, Monitor test set-up, Service list, Trouble shooting questions answered, Installation of the refrigeration unit atop the cabinet procedures, cabinet adjustments and a very long list of cabinet designations! WHEW! Please e-mail us to ask if your model is in there. It features the Porcelain models, the Wooden Cabinet models and all the early ones from the beginning of production in 1927. BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED & PHOTOGRAPHED, 80 pages 8.5" X 11†format color and B & W PHOTOCOPY. These were comb bound so it opens like a book with heavy covers. Softbound I guess you would say, with a rather stiff back cover. We found these at a swap meet. We were told they were from an “out of business†appliance parts house. We have compared it to an original and it is a complete replica of the original text! Excellent condition not damaged with color pages inside cutaways and every step-by-step repair and troubleshooting ALL needed to repair and maintain these beauties! GE produced hundreds of models during this era. This terrific early manual of installation instructions, actual photographs of the machines, with corresponding part numbers, wiring diagrams, specifications, trouble shooting & the correct adjustments/repairs, etc. is the BEST ! A VERY valuable manual for those of you who own, and/or are restoring these units. You can’t go wrong using a copy of the FACTORY manual for your restoration!
